A good location hotel, a vintage one, yet it's lovely and peacefully for us. We can drive to any attraction places within 15 mins. and a easy parking lot surrounding. We booked for japanese style rooms, it's clean, it's fit us for 3 people, which meet our expectation. Their staffs make our beds during we have dinner, the Kaiseki dinner is very good and we find variety of food for Breakfast with fresh seafood and more. The onsen is good even it's amount of pools not as many as other big hotel nearby yet it's good enough for us.

Shuttle bus thru Yuyu liner from sapporo is very convenient. The onsen was big, complete amenities. The tatami room is big for 3 people, clean & spacious. There is a toilet, sink and shower room. Location is unbeatable, walking distance to local bus station. A good hike to Jigokudani and Oyunuma foot bath. Breakfast is the best! Salmon roe buffet and Noboribetsu Milk were the highlights. Gift shop sell cute stuff and souvenirs. A good hotel for one to two nights if you like onsens. We loves Noboribetsu

Loved the resort and onsen. The outdoor bath was incredible and we loved the private bath in our room. The hotel is kept very clean, but the private bath in our room had quite a bit of mold everywhere. For such an upscale resort, I was surprised that part wasn't kept cleaner. Walkable to Noboribetsu's major sights--Jigoku Dani and the bear park. We wanted a classic Hokkaido onsen town experience, and Noboribetsu Grand Hotel and this cute little mountain town delivered!

Tara

The onsen was great, with multiple types (Sulpher, Iron, Salt etc.), saunas, and plunge pools. The outdoor bath was very relaxing, with water cascading down the rocks, and many types of trees providing shade. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Sourrounding area is very beautiful, we went to Jigokudani (Hell valley), and I went running up to Lake Kuttarra, a volcanic caldera, I saw lots of deer, but no one other people :)

Miles

The onsen was enjoyable and relaxing followed by a massage. Dinner the first evening was an enjoyable buffet featuring a very extensive variety of different ethnic dishes to choose from. Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Western and French cuisines were offered. Breakfast also featured similar cuisines in a buffet setting.
